Oh. I’m sorry but you will probably have to start over :( You did good with planting multiple seeds to ensure you had enough plants, but unfortunately they didn’t get enough light once they sprouted and stretched. It’s fine to keep seeds inside anywhere immediately after sowing, but once they pop their little head out, they’ll be looking for sun or a grow light for energy! If you transplanted these or moved the container outside, they wouldn’t do well because of how floppy they are. Can you eat lavender sprouts? If so you have a little addition to your salad or smoothie :) that’s unfortunately the only use case for these guys. Next time, for success, get a grow light (I’ve used something similar to these: https://a.co/d/2yht9bZ) and position it a few inches above the container. They need more light than even the brightest windowsill can give. Then, once your sprouts have 4-6 leaves, pick the best looking ones and pinch the rest. It’s sad killing otherwise good little seedlings but it will allow the other ones to grow strong. For this pot next time, I would leave 3-4 good seedlings spaced evenly apart from each other, and then in about 2 weeks move them to a bigger pot - something this size for one. I don’t have any experience with lavender particularly, but I imagine it would need at least a 10-12” pot as its final home, or spacing probably 12-18” in the ground. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. Good luck on round 2! I recommend waiting until late July or early August to start again, so by the time they grow big by late Sept early Oct, they won’t have to deal with the hot summer.
