As everyone else has said, yes you'll need counterweights. If you want to do them on the cheap and have access to 3D printing, this is a kit to attach regular workout weights (with 28mm central holes) to the shaft: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4834804 It says the center hole is 20.5mm, so just double-check that your shaft is 18-20mm diameter; I used this kit on my Skyview Pro, which has a 20mm diameter shaft and it's a really tight fight, but it works. You'll also need M4 hex screws/bolts and M4 nuts. I used some longer M4 hex bolts (the 3D file that it was created from says 15mm minimum, but I used much longer) and then these plastic knurled nuts, to make them loosenable without tools: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PBMPBFD I did this for an older Celestron 102mm refractor, which weighs basically the same (and on a mount with basically the same distances). I bought a 5lb and a 2.5lb weight and was able to make things work.
