Instead of a floor bed, I chose to do bed rails. Both are recommended by the Sweet Sleep book by La Leche League (where the Safe Sleep 7 is from). I have no place to put my adjustable bed frame, didn’t want to buy a platform, and I was worried about mold if I put my mattress directly on the floor. I just bought this one because it’s pretty much the length of my queen size bed, is height and length adjustable, and folds down easily. You could buy them in different sizes for all the sides of your bed if you like. I have my bed in the corner, so I only have 2 sides to worry about. https://a.co/d/06uC7WHy Just make sure that the bed rail is flush against the mattress, and that you pack any cracks so the baby can’t get entrapped.
