I ended up going with this from a wireless perspective: https://a.co/d/03NOf8YU and it works very well so far (very quick connection and stable). I also found a 1.5 foot USB A to C cable in my immense cable collection that charges from the arm rest USB port - and the phone in the back cup holder.
