Don’t get a swim cap, get a neoprene hood that has a small hole in the top. I am loathe to dive without mine. (My hair goes halfway down my back, for reference.) Something like this (https://a.co/d/0bBrvLSC) stays on way better than something like this (https://a.co/d/0254cNzR) which is Lycra or spandex. Just make sure the neoprene one has a small hole in the top or your bubbles will get caught and it will annoy the shit out of you. I literally wear the neoprene one in warm water when I’m diving in just a bikini. Do I look ridiculous? Absolutely. But is my hair tangle-free and not torn at the temples from my mask? Also yes.
