I just want to be able to switch inputs by pressing the input button a few times like TVs of old. Not with your magic remote, but if you switch to a universal, then yes. I went with the sofabaton u3, which works great to control all my devices but is kind of a headache to get all set up. If you don't want to go through the pain of setting up a universal remote for everything, you could just get a cheapo LG replacement remote for the regular "non-magic" controls. I went with this one for $10 on Amazon: https://a.co/d/0apFE83T (I originally picked up this $10 replacement remote with the idea that I could use it to train the sofabaton, since obviously you can't train an IR universal with an RF magic remote. Turned out not to be necessary because the sofabaton cloud already knows all the buttons I could ever need.)
