My two favorites are the passion planner or a Filofax-style, ring bound organizer. I used each of them at different times during undergrad and loved it. Passion PlannerIf you want something that is already set up for you, I’d go with the compact passion planner. It gives you a weekly overview that is sectioned out in half hour increments. And each week has list making area and a blank notes are. I used those to keep track of my assignments each week. It also has a monthly overview, and a few other kinds of pages. The paper is really nice and the compact/ small size is like an A5 which made it super portable for me. But you can get larger sizes. They also offer a free printable version of the entire planner if you want to print pages to try them out. small/ compact passion plannerprintable weekly passion planner pages Ring Bound Organizer The ring bound organizer is best if you want to be in charge of every kind of insert/ page that’s in there. These planners are usually a bit smaller, I used the personal size. This was/ is my set up: weekly horizontal pages, where I keep track of assignments Daily pages broken up into an hourly time blocking section and a daily task list. My assignments would also get transferred there from my weekly and I would also add any personal tasks I had. Then I would use the time blocking section to keep track of when my classes and work shifts were. Monthly: I didn’t use these a ton but you mentioned you had clinicals, I think you could use them to keep track your upcoming shifts, the days you are or are not working. References: I would keep important info I needed to check back on, in This section. Stuff like my semester schedule, when my last oil change was, stuff like that Notes: for everything and anything else.
