I think I was 3 weeks out? My husband was afraid to hurt me though, so I looked at the link a previous post mentioned and tried those. I think around 4 months everything is back to "normal" and I have done anything I wanted since. Most helpful are those kits with the grabber and the sock puller upper. I also found with higher toilets i put on the bars only, the extension made it too tall. The grabber bars for the shower are so useful as well. I also found getting the basket with velcro table for the walker was a huge help so I could get my own food and bring my meds with me everywhere. I bought this one and now my daughter is using it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNJSW1XB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share The other thing i found really helpful and I would still use if my daughter didn't need it is my bed rail. It helps tremendously getting in and out of bed! Mine is no longer being sold, but i got something like this: https://a.co/d/05e3vXqp where the handle can go on either side and it had a fabric basket to put my phone and meds in Oh one more thing, underwear one size up! Some that won't tighten around your leg openings. I did use some women boxers but don't find them comfy, so i just got bigger panties.
