I’m locking this - this is not much more secure than the keypad and should not be considered as any means of secure. This can still be bypassed by a strong magnet on some keypads. It also doesn’t stop code sharing, shoulder surfing or code guessing (using worn keys in the event of shared codes). It just prevents someone from peeling the keypad off the wall and bridging some contacts. Edit to add: it also doesn’t stop anyone from removing the keypad, installing a remote control relay behind the keypad, and waiting for someone to press the reset button without confirming there was no actual tampering. Anywhere that uses a keypad won’t have anyone that knows (or cares) enough to properly inspect every tamper trip.
