Dress 1 has great fabric but the top is not flattering It completely removes your chest. When I got to dress 4 I thought it was on a different person! (And you are not going to go around with your leg out on the actual day so that slit is just for overly staged photos LOL.) Dress 2 has an amazing fabric pattern (You clearly are drawn to interesting fabrics and I love that!) But the top doesn't work at all. It is shame because the skirt is extraordinary. Dress 3 is a solid choice. It is lovely. It suits you and flatters you and your figure. Given how you seem drawn to interesting fabrics though I don't know if it is your "the one". You will look great in it though. And you can have tons of fun with all your accessories because they won't clash. Dress 4 is also a solid choice but it is a bit risque. I don't know you or your specific venue or your elderly relatives so I don't know if you want sexy or sweet. But you rock it. (dress 3 is if you want the attention on your face. Dress 4 is if you want attention on the girls.) The back is nice. (but you want to look at how it ties up/bustles. Because you will spend a lot more time with it up than with it having the long train. Dress 5 I am in utterly love with. It is the one I would pick hands-down. And it fits the vibe you describe. But the pattern in the lace is very strong. So you have to be very careful with accessories (veil, necklace, bouquet, shoes, hairstyle and hair decorations) Everything will be impacted and limited by the strong style of the dress fabric. But it is definitely gorgeous and gorgeous on you and figure flattering. It isn't too risque but it does provide a bit of a tease. And the train is manageable. So Dress 5 is the clear winner in my book. Dress 6 I totally understand your including it because the fabric is gorgeous. But the top isn't wedding-worthy. (And you know groom isn't into strapless anyway. He isn't wrong - it is a pain to deal with strapless because of the uncomfortable underwear and the risk of wardrobe malfunction) It is more a summer garden party dress or what you wear to another person's wedding. If it isn't horrifyingly expensive, get it for your rehearsal dinner. Don't you dare put white lining under it lol! It will ruin it. But you would enjoy wearing it because the fabric is amazing. If you do purchase it for non-wedding activities (and again I recommend you do) you will have to remove several inches from the hem and even more at the back. You can use that fabric (unlined) to make a bolero. And small straps. Or high neck. And accessories! maybe a hair bow or hat band for cool sun hat . It's a lot of extra fabric LOL! Here are some links to the kind of things you could make with all that extra fabric. (high neck) (bolero) (long sleeve) (Straps) (attached bolero) (ruffled neck) (matching hat and purse) Option 7 Now here is a wild option if you have time. Get a dress with plain tulle. Something that fits you gorgeously but the fabric is a boring blank slate. Something inexpensive and ivory or champagne color. And spend the leftover dress budget to have an artist handpaint flowers like the ones in dress 6. You can't throw a rock without hitting an artist in Socal.
