Hey friend! I also had a spinal cord injury last year, which needs surgery soon apparently (eww.) I started using this gamepad holder a couple months ago and it's fantastic. It helps hold the weight of the gamepad so my hands can be more focused on movement. I have issues with fine motor control on the right, so sometimes it's easier to control my fingers in one position over another, and this thing let's me do whatever I need to in order to stay comfortable. Definitely prolongs my gaming sessions!! I have a ROG so there was one made for it, but you could look at the universal and see if that could work for the Xbox!
