It was just above the roofline. I mounted the DC/DC converter near the mount at the top, ran wire into a spare spot in the RVs fused DC bus. Has worked great. At one point I drove 300 miles directly into 40+ mph wind with 50+ gusts going 65mph and everything held up fine.
