We used these racheting straps and they're both easy to use and very satisfying to hear clicking as the sub is restrained. Given their design, you can just put them inline with most rope setups. We also haven't been able to undo the clips with nimble fingers like we can for spring clips. We've been using them at least weekly for about 3 years now and no signs of wear despite frequent pulling and struggling.
