Yes I still use my grabber all the time! It’ll definitely be useful even after recovering. This is the pillow I got (hopefully the link works!) - https://a.co/d/00p2fyxrI liked that there were a few different ways to adjust it. I told myself I’d use it even after recovery, although I haven’t much lol. But it was really nice to use sleeping and relaxing in bed those first few weeks. I also highly recommend getting a heating pad. That helped me soo much with the gas pains in my shoulders. Those pains were honestly worst than the incisions, so just be prepared for that. I like the idea of discarding the entire litter pan with a bag and replacing. I wish I thought of that! I wasn’t as prepared with the cat situation lol.

Definitely Get her one of these and some kind of bottle with long built in straw/camelbak thing https://a.co/d/0dVEYeNf And if you can one of these https://a.co/d/0cm3ip5J Hang in there. It is what it is. She will be healthy and happy again

I bought a wedge pillow and then put pillows on my right side so it made it harder to rotate. I also laid as close to the edge of my bed as I comfortably could on the left so I wouldn’t roll that way. It was shard to fall asleep some nights, but once I did I thankfully stayed asleep and always woke up on my back! After about 2 weeks it was easier and then I started testing laying on my side during the day around 5 weeks and once it no longer hurt to do so, I checked with my surgeon about going back to side sleeping around 6.5 or 7 weeks I think.
