I've used amazon resale for the GPU and Cex for the ram in order to save money. Ryzen 5 7600X, 16GB Ram and RX 9060 XT 8GB. This combination should be solid for 1080p gaming and maybe a bit of 1440p. Thermalright CPU cooler. The 7600X has low power usage and this cooler can definitely handle it. Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX motherboard. It has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and basically has all the things you'd want in a motherboard. 1TB SSD from Netac. It has a 3 year warranty and looks solid based on amazon reviews. It's pretty much the only way to get 1TB. SHARKOON Rebel C50 for the case. It includes 4 fans with controllable speed/lights so can adjust the noise to your preference. 650W MSI PSU Let me know if you have any questions.
Unfortunately prices right now aren't too good but this is the best upgrades i can think of considering current prices. CPU - My recommended upgrade is either the Ryzen 5 5600 or Ryzen 5 5500X3D if you're okay with using ebay/aliexpress. They're both significantly better in gaming compared to the Ryzen 5 3600 and the 5500X3D is a step above the regular 5600. https://gamersnexus.net/cpus/am4-lives-amd-ryzen-5-5500x3d-cpu-review-benchmarks - This article compares 3700X (3600 level), 5600X and 5500X3D in various games and consistently the 5500X3D comes out on top. Graphics Card - If you go for a new GPU it's either the RTX 5060TI 8GB or 9060 XT 8GB and for a used GPU i think the obvious option is the RTX 3080 10GB (set power limits though since 650W PSU is borderline). Out of the 3 the 3080 is best because it's got 10GB of VRAM (vs 8GB) andhas the fastest raw performance. If you want a new card then i prefer the 9060XT 8GB because the 5060TI requires PCIE 5.0 to run games good while the 9060XT does not (your mobo is 3.0). When games run out of VRAM, they borrow from your PC ram. Your older motherboard with 3.0 really nerfs the 5060TI heavily during this process but the 9060XT handles it better. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/powercolor-radeon-rx-9060-xt-reaper-8-gb/ - Comparison between them all in ideal scenario. The 3080 tops then the 9060XT which is usually a bit better than the 5060TI. Cooler - Assuming your using the stock cooler that came with the Ryzen 5 3600 a replacement would definitely be good for reducing noise. The ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE has a good price and is quiet. Also if you haven't set fan curves for your case fans do that as well so you can control the noise better. Storage/Ram - 1TB HDD is definitely slowing you down when you install games on it especially on newer ones. Unfortunately things like ram and storage cost an insane amount right now. I think you'll have to stick with your current ram which is honestly okay since 16GB is good enough but for storage I'd get a new SSD for sure. With all those things in mind here are two part lists for used and new. New - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/H4j6Dw - I'd rather do a higher storage SSD but SSD prices are so bad. Amazon resale lets you get a RX 9060XT in like new condition for £265 so you can fit in a higher storage SSD (alt build). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Cr9SSailS0 - game tests Used - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/svsdH3 (average prices from ebay could find better prices ofc but as a baseline the custom prices i put should be reasonable). https://youtu.be/CFsiuMhKW2Q (not the exact same components but reasonable approximation) Let me know if you have any questions.
