I like this little mount. Puts it at a good height for me. For hand picking I whittled a little block of It's cheaper if you also make a hobby out of making your own picks. Wiper blade inserts are great, with a little heat shrink around the handle part. You can get stainless 304 shim stock in appropriate thicknesses for like $10 that'll make 10 or more picks. You do need some needle files and a small grinder or Dremel to make that a pleasant process. I've made tensioners from wiper inserts and trash saws all blades.
