Definitely helpful! I'm using this wire in 1.6mm. I need to order some thinner wire for some 9-lever mortice locks I got from Sweden. My digital calipers say their levers are 1.15mm thick, so the 1.6mm isn't going to work. lol

Yup! This is the wire I got that’s working nicely. I made the mistake of ordering this pack first. Some good stuff there, but your micrometer/calipers had better be well calibrated to figure out which piece is which thickness! lol Basically I use a hammer and the vice that I bought for picking to get a good 90 degree bend. And I don’t know if it actually helps but I filed the picking end a bit to make it flatter. Seems like it wouldn’t slide off the levers as much. Here’s the one I used in my blue belt video.
