Man I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude but it is bad. Typically on corners you'd have the post set 1' taller or so to account for the 3, or in this case, 6 brace bands to be placed to secure and tighten the barb wire. Get a common stake and cut it in half, weld them back together in a T shape and widen out a hole towards the bottom of the T. Run the strand of barb wire through that hole and use the T handle to spin it to tighten the wire. Use some bulldog hinges and you could've opened it both ways. You can even simply just let the top rail of that gate rest down into the hinge seat to set height https://a.co/d/04qvzYkT
