I had breast biopsies, as well - I went with thesehttps://www.amazon.com/Womens-Sports-Wireless-Post-Surgery-Active/dp/B01M4RQH83 The zipper front is a real game changer imo
These are what my surgeon recommends and I’ve lived in them since the double mastectomy last year. https://www.amazon.com/Womens-Sports-Wireless-Post-Surgery-Active/dp/B01M4RQH83 Check the size chart, they may not be the usual size you wear. Fwiw my underbust measures 36” and I wear a medium in these. I’d be shocked if they don’t send you home in a surgical bra or light binder but these are more comfortable, I found. Last time I had surgery I was told to wash with the special soap the night before and morning of, sleep on clean sheets with clean PJs, keep pets out of the bedroom. Don’t worry too much, as others said it’s all to minimize infection risk, and that’s a good thing! No lotion or deodorant the day of surgery because they want the sensors and whatnot to adhere to your skin without trouble. They’ll put heart monitor stickies on you to make sure you’re okay under anesthesia. Wear your glasses and bring a case for them. They’ll tell you when they need to take your belongings and keep them aside in a bag for you. Wear shoes you can just kick on - you won’t be wanting to tie laces. I wore my slippers. Not often you get to wear slippers in public free of judgment! YOLO And even if you don’t do all of these things, you’ll be fine. You got this.
I was repeatedly cautioned not to use ice packs - you don’t want to inhibit blood flow, which is important for healing. These are the bras my surgeon recommended post-DMX with expanders: https://www.amazon.com/Womens-Sports-Wireless-Post-Surgery-Active/dp/B01M4RQH83 If you have discomfort around the incisions, place a couple of these: https://www.amazon.com/Curad-Non-Stick-Pads-Inches-Count/dp/B001B5CQQE Between the bra and the incisions.
