Same issue with my 2020 around the 5 year mark. I do use a lot of hand sanitizer though. I bought this cover and can still feel the heated steering wheel thru it, but not nearly as hot. I wasn’t about to be stitching a new cover on so this one just basically snaps in. I just wanted a cheap and easy solution.
