This may be genius or stupid. But I think you can leave it looking professional if you buy one of those pass throughs so that wall mounted TVs don't have cables showing. It's called a drywall cable passthrough. Something like this: Amazon.com: VCELINK in-Wall Cable Management Kit, 2.44" (62 mm) Mini Wall Cord Hider for TV/Coaxial/HDMI/Speaker Cords, Includes 2 Pass Throughs, Locking Brackets and Hole Saw Drill Attachment : Electronics And then you can drywall/seal around it. I would measure and get a big one, the one I linked is just for reference but may be small. Since the conduit is installed already, you may have to cut the passthrough, wrap it around the conduit and glue the seams back together or split it in halves but... I still think it'll look way cleaner.
