I hate those Dell battery holders. It's virtually impossible to get the battery out of them to be replaced without bending the contacts excessively or breaking part of the body. Forget about trying with the motherboard still in the case. You can change the battery holder out fairly easily with just a soldering iron and some needle pliers, but a desoldering gun makes the job a whole lot easier.
