I have frequent cold sores, valtrex(valacyclovir) prescription med is the most effective, just 2 days therapy. You need to see a doc though for the rx. Someone mentioned docasonol cream otc, yes. I personally am wearing this right now for my cold sore and it does decrease the size. https://a.co/d/00M6Nk9I

Keep going with the lysine. Get out of the sun. Wear a hat and protect your skin. Sunshine (UV light) is a big trigger. Keep going with your antivirals. Eat really well and sleep, all of which support your body to fight this back into dormancy. After that, the cold sores do need to go through their cycle, and once the skin is damaged and broken and crusted, it is a wound that must heal. The best patches I have ever found I am listing here. They do some covering, accept makeup, and most importantly, they allow the sores to heal as quickly as possible in a healthy environment. I’m sorry this is happening to you! https://a.co/d/015BQxUu
