I had a very specific setup that I wanted for my Discover 2, so these may not be for you despite being perfect for me. Ortlieb Velo-Shopper for my clothes Folding basket for my backpack Small trunk for my lock, chain, gloves, towel, pump, riding glasses, etc. The Velo-Shopper works great. I love the quick attachment to my rack. I really didn't want clips or ties to secure the opening; the super-fast magnet latch is perfect for my laziness. LOL Also, I didn't want a pair, so I saved money elsewhere to spend more on this item. I haven't folded the basket yet, but I can if I want. I used metal hose clamps to secure it to the rack, so it's not something I plan on taking off any time soon. The trunk was the hardest to locate because I wanted one that was about the width of the rack. I had a wider metal basket for a while, but it was a giant PITA to reach under it to attach the pannier. This one could not be more perfect for what I wanted. It holds everything I hoped to carry in it. Also, I bought the reflective silver model, and that thing is bright when a light hits it. I'm not sure if I'll bother attaching a MIK adapter. Maybe someday. I need everything in the trunk, so I'll have to find a place for everything if I take it off. (I could drop it in the side basket, I suppose.) Come next summer, I might find myself wanted to swap it out for a larger carrying option, like my first basket or a larger container. I'm not trying to make it on r/carryshitolympics, but I do like running errands on my D2.
