I had luck with rinsing the keyboard of another laptop (Asus GL702ZC) while dissasembled to remove the sugar left by spilling coffee with milk and sugar on it, and then letting it dry for days. If your tea had sugar you might need to do that, but do it at your own risk because it might trash the keyboard.
