Let them know you bave an autistic nonverbal child and that if they see her alone outside then that means something is wrong and to please bring her back to your house ASAP. People usually like knowing who loves around them even if you just keep things civil. Our little guy has escaped a couple of times, once out of our front gate (which we promptly put a pad lock on and its never happened again) and another time when he took off all his clothes down to his diaper and squeezed hismelf between our back concrete wall where it is supposed to meet our neighbors wooden fence. There was a small gap there and he slipped right through it behind the bushes. Its in a high up ODD little corner that we as adult cant really get up to but he figured it out lol. We immediately put up these items, and by the time the CPS worker came she saw that we took some immediate measures and was really sweet and understanding because she knows these things happen. Get a fence and LOCK IT, no o e needs to be coming and going without you knowing anyway. Have Amazon place boxes OVER the fence and drop it. And pay close attention when packages are expected. Thays literally it. No other adjustments to my life have NEEDED to be made... It'll be ok, just lock your place down. 🫂
