Get a Blink pan and tilt camera. It's a MUCH better choice. I wouldn't depend on an Echo View. They show you just a tiny portion of the room. You can still use a show as well, if you want her to see you when you check in. But the Blink is much better for checking on her if she's not in bed. I had several in my mom's house until I installed 24/7 security cameras. You could go straight to the security camera if it works better for you. I use Wansview. They are very inexpensive. The picture is super crisp, the 2-way speaker is clear, and it's pan-and-tilt, so you can check the whole room. I have a tablet that I connected to the cameras with the app. The camera view is on at all times, so I just take the tablet with me from room to room.
