The pad itself seems waterproof to me. I keep it high (around the shoulders) so the transmitter part is off to the side or above the shoulders (i have one on our LR couch so it's lenthwise. Only us at home. I bathe her 6 days/week. I have an aide 1 day/week. I go with her to the toilet constantly to minimize toilet accidents. I've cleaned up horrendous poop accidents both at home and bathrooms at restaurants and other places. I've finally got a handle on it although I can't prevent every incontinence poop accident..which is only increasing. Even with preventive toileting. I'm at the point I hardly close the bathroom door for myself! I keep wanting to create a post for partners titled, "remember when taking a bath together was sexy and romantic?" Now I just hope she doesn't poop in the shower...it's happened. I just had a thought for the cameras. You might want to setup 2. One for the daytime. Blur it a bit with some type of filter over it so it doesn't show details, yet you can see her moving around. The 2nd camera you can turn it on during the sleep time and off during the day. If you have a google account, I find that interface for the camera is the most intuitive and simple to use. Also, be sure to have it powered with a plug in power (USB is okay). Battery powered will not give you constant recording as it draws too much power.
