Apple Magic Trackpad - White Multi-Touch Surface ​​​​​​​

I use to only use the track pad on the laptop , wouldn’t the trackpad (https://a.co/d/byrpIBD) still cause the same issue of cramping on fingers? Or is it a different way of using it?
