If you’re just looking for package opening, I use the NiteIze DoohicKey and it works pretty well, about 90-95% as good as a knife. I prefer not to carry a blade, because I go into areas they’re not allowed fairly frequently and I don’t have much of a need for a lot of the features of a multi tool. Why are you replacing the Dime if it meets your requirements?
