Co wash is basically using a conditioner to clean your hair instead of shampoo— some people use a regular conditioner but you can also get products specifically for this that are a bit more cleansing. I personally like getting a product made for co-washing since I find it more effectively cleans. This is the one I use! https://a.co/d/0hDO3I5c To answer your leave-in and hair towel question together: I wash my hair as normal in the shower and then after I get out, i brush my hair with a wide tooth comb upside down, scrunch out excess water with the microfiber towel, and then wrap it and leave it for like 5-10 min while I do other stuff. After that I take my hair out, do some light combing as needed to re-position it, and then add about a dime sized amount of the cream to my mid lengths and ends. After that I do a thorough scrunch and try my best to avoid touching it while it finishes drying. I usually wash my hair in the morning, but for you I’d avoid sleeping in the hair towel. If you’re letting it dry overnight I’d recommend using a silk bonnet to avoid tangles and frizz overnight! If it works for your routine, it may also be worth trying washing your hair in the morning too, that could avoid some frizz from your damp hair being squished and moved around in the night.
