I have 2 of the Dell S2725QC in a dual screen setup. It works great with my Mac mini. The QS and QC models are basically the same but the QC has USB-C connectivity which works better with Mac, plus it has a USB hub which adds 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C port to you Mac.

You don't need to spend $800-900 on a coding monitor. The Dell S2725QC is a great budget monitor for only $252 on Amazon right now. It's 27" 4K 120Hz with USB-C. I have 2 of them and they're great.

You can but 4K on a large size tv might make things look pixelated if you're sitting close to it. I have the Dell S2725QC for my Mac mini and it's great and on sale for Prime Day.

I have 2 Dell S2725QC for my Mac mini and they've been great. It's basically the same as the QS but it has USB-C connectivity and includes a USB hub which adds 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port to your Mac mini. It also has decent built in speakers. The colors look vibrant and the text looks sharp as well. There's a built in eye-comfort filter which removes some of the blue light that strains your eyes. There's also no coil whine that I can hear on either monitor. If you need professional level color accuracy maybe upgrade to the Dell UltraSharp U2725QE but it's pricier.

I bought 2 Dell S2725QC 27” 4K 120Hz monitors on Black Friday last year and they are a great upgrade from 1080p. It works perfectly over USB-C and text looks sharp. It also has descent built in speakers and USB-A/USB-C hub for connecting devices.

The Dell S2725QC is 27" 42 120Hz for under $300 right now. I have 2 of them and they've been great. The Dell UltraSharp U2725QE is better for color accuracy but it's a little out of your budget.
