I’d highly recommend getting the solar panel version, in the two years since buying it I’ve never had to take it down to charge it, which is good since it’s stuck up on the roof lol It takes a memory card and I think at a default records 10-30 seconds? There’s a free cloud service that I use since my memory card ain’t working well, but you can upgrade if you want longer sections of video. You can look through it too at any time, so if you get an alert you can see what’s going on and you can talk through it, or set off an alarm/light. I have it set so the light triggers if something walks passed it at night, which is usually just animals or my dad taking out the dogs 😅
