I have a set similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/Screw-Tent-Stakes-12PCS-Drillable/dp/B0CPDDN3N6 They've made life so much easier (my tent has 12 stakes), just makes sure the drill is charged... If the ground is too hard, start a hole, pour some water and let it sit for a bit before trying again.
