If you go to Yongsan behind the huge shopping mall, there's a whole other building where there's a ton of PC stores that sell parts. I bought all my parts online so there were some decent sales but those sales are gone now. The standard 32gb (16x16) sells for over 598,000 won which would be about 391$. When I compare prices on Newegg, the cheapest DDR5 32gb kit, it's 349.99$ and that was refurbished. However a new kit was 404$. In my opinion, the prices between RAM are very minuscule. I would most likely just buy the RAM kit in your country. Because some main reasons are: Every PC store (in person) will charge different amounts and you can possibly haggle but as an American living in Korea, if you don't speak Korean, they hold their price firmly or they will say "If you buy this at full price, I'll throw this one in for free or as a bundle." Even if you find a RAM kit online in Korea that's selling cheaper online, you cannot buy it because you don't live in Korea. You must have an ARC card and a Korean bank account + check card (its a debt card). And the worst part is, even if you do have a Korean check card, you have to register it to be able to make purchases online. Warranties MAY NOT carry over. So even if you buy RAM in Korea and take it back home and if there's a problem, you may go through proper channels with the manufacturer but its iffy if they will replace it. I've had this happen with a particular laptop I bought from Korea and a Nintendo Switch. I bought my switch in Korea and it came with a 3 year warranty for the Joycons and when I was coming back home to America for a short trip, my Joycons finally got that terrible stick drift. When I came back to Korea for work, I tried to process the warranty but was denied because the damages occurred overseas. So the warranty was voided and I was out 2 Joycons. The price discrepancy. With the current economy between Korea and the US, prices are practically the same but are steadily increasing here in Korea. Sure when you use an online converter you'll save maybe 10$ on this RAM kit but you can easily return it even if you opened it in America or another western country. It's very difficult to return a product in Korea if you have opened it. Policies/laws may have changed compared to when I first started living in Korea (2018), but its very difficult to return a product for various reasons. Just to state the obvious, returning clothes is fairly simple. But when it comes to electronics in Korea, it's very difficult to return when someone has opened it and tried it. This was particular very long reply which I am sorry, I just felt I needed to say those things. TLDR: if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much between a 10$ price difference on RAM kits, I would prefer to buy RAM in America/different counties compared to Korea because return policies or warranties are easier to process and they can't deny you the return process compared to Korea.
