Then you'd each have a backpack, leaving hands almost completely free to care for the baby. We travel with just a personal item only. My two little boys (now 7 and 4) each use a small Hanke spinner that fits under the seat as a personal item. I either use my Evergoods Transit Duffel 25L or a third small Hanke spinner, depending on how much we need to bring for the trip. My oldest son spins one or two of the small bags, and I take the other with the stroller backpack on top. That leaves me with a free hand for holding my little guy's hand.
