This is all part of modifying RC vehicles, and a part that many of us really enjoy. The upgrade parts that are designed for these vehicles often require some additional parts or customization of the stock parts in order for them to fit properly. All aftermarket servos for the SCX24 require a different mount than the stock one. Search for an adjustable servo mount to make it bolt up to the axle and allow you to place the servo where you want it front to back. More than likely the new servo and mount will be too wide for the stock chassis rails and it will rub at certain angles, you can trim the chassis or servo to make them work better together but that is fairly normal. I would also recommend a replacement steering link, the stock one is very soft and will more than likely bend and flex with that particular servo. There is also a chance that the stock hardware on the plastic link is not the same thread as the aluminum servo horn. at least that is how it was when the SCX24 was first released. https://www.amazon.com/RampCrab-Adjustable-Steering-Deadbolt-Gladiator/dp/B0CBZ3MRVK This is one of the most adjustable mounts you can buy, just don't lose the screws because they are larger than the stock hardware.
