another tip, iirc you can get get a USB adapter for the shifter to plug it directly into your PC, which gives back access to the additional buttons on it those shifters are actually really cool because they’re so easy to modify, and you have the only version of it with a sequential mode, which went away in the subsequent iterations there’s a nice magnetic mod on eBay for the gate that makes it feel more clicky, and I got one of these for mine, improved the feel for me as long as it’s all in good shape it will be a perfectly serviceable wheel, I have a certain fondness for the G25 and the G27, and they’re super sturdy and easy enough to work on and one last thing- when you finally get to use a DD wheel and some nice petals, the difference will take your breath away ;)
