I was pretty much in the same situation as you and I can only recommend this book as it teaches you everything about your situation and what you can actually do to improve your outcomes incl. how to manage capox side effects etc. I did not have any major side effects after 3 months, but of course you will feel more tired and it does take some time to get back to normal afterwards.
