I’d be inclined to platforms over perches, based on our experience with our linnie who - while not missing a leg - has reduced grip strength in one foot. She vastly prefers platforms or perches thin enough that she can fully curve/rest her feet around (that may or may not also apply to your cockatoo’s remaining leg as well). We purchased our platforms from Amazon. If we picked one that turns out to be too smooth or too big, we wrap it in vet wrap for added traction and toy in one. (She really enjoys nibbling at the vet wrap)
