I used it outdoors a lot - not hot weather, but it never heated up very much when using it. I can fully charge my iPhone from 20% to 80% (or more) at least 3 times before needing to recharge the device. It does take a few hours to fully charge up, but easy to charge it overnight when traveling and it’s ready in the morning. My sister got one too and loves it. Used it on a 4 month trip around Europe.
