The key is getting the panels out of your way first. Fishing the wires is trivial after that. Make sure that you secure your wires with tape or wire ties to keep them from moving around and/or getting pinched by panels or car seats.
I recently replaced one myself. It was surprisingly easy. 10 minutes on YouTube, 15 minutes of work. If you really want it done cheap, DIY is the way to go for simple stuff like this. You already have the parts, so assuming you have basic tools, everything else is free.
