Funny, I'm on the Amazon Vine program and one of the biggest/best "freebies" I got from it was a countertop RO filter. From the first cup, I fell in love with it/RO water - smoothest water I've ever had. But, I soon realized I needed to remineralize it because I started getting feet/leg cramps, particularly afer long bike rides, no matter how much I drank. Picked up one of these trace mineral add-ins and the issue (mostly) went away! But (per my initial review of the RO filter) the filters are a PITA to find and are pricey, so I use a Brita in the AM for hydration and RO water in the evening, for taste. From OP: Setup:I have or recently picked up the below items for my personal detailing setup, listed in order from faucet to pressure washer. Hose splitter For bypassing the filters for the initial rinse & wash stages. One to filters, one to just past the filters, before pressure washer. Both outputs to remain open. RAINPOINT Garden Hose Splitter Pre-filters: I've had these for filling our spa already. It's a dual setup, hose splits to 2 of these run in parallel for doubling their rated 1gpm rate Intended mainly for reducing chlorine, which greatly reduces DI media life, but also minor sediment due to old pipes Pentair Pentek FloPlus-10 Pentair Pentek 150071 Traditional Standard Filter Housing, 3/4" NPT #10 Booster pump (The portion in question for this post): In anticipation of the issue, I ordered this pressure boosting pump, which arrived this morning. Input from various sources suggested it go here, possibly before the pre-filters, but definitely not after the DI filter.
