Funny I just went down this road. I was assembling a system for my daughter who is moving into her own place. I too purchased the Opal1's in white and paired it with a Wiim Ultra Amp. Although the amp will drive them with its 100 W per channel (at 8 ohms), you really need to push it to get anything that these speakers are capable of. I felt that the amp just didn't have enough headroom. I ended up pairing a set of Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M II's and this made a nice compact setup for <$1,000. I did however keep the Opal1's. I connected them to my vintage Pioneer SX-3900 (120 W per channel) and they sound great. It's really important what you are driving them with. If you cannot afford to buy a high power amp, switch to a more efficient pair of speakers. The RPM's can be had between $450~$500 and perform well on these Class D amps. As for the streamer I cannot comment on anything other than Wiim. I've purchased 3 different streamer/amp product and cannot be happier with the price/performance. The $100 difference may be worth a try. These stands are excellent. I bought both black (for the RPM's) and white for the Opal1's. Good luck and post back on what you purchase.
