u/Amaager replied to a post of mine with their storage solution for large projects. I have adopted it and it works well. I bought the binder they suggested online, and purchased the plastic sheets at Walmart. I use Floss Away bags or the generic sold by Michaels or Hobby Lobby and fold them in half, then store them in the card slot. Each page has 9 pockets. I also wrote the thread color number on a blank index card, cut them up and inserted them in the slots. I've attached their comment and am attaching a photo of how I have it set up. I ended up making two binders with collector card pages and small baggies to hold one of every DMC floss. I love being able to flip through it, make a pile of floss I need, and toss them in a project bag, without worrying about getting them dirty! Looks like a lot of fun! And thank you too! I had bobbins years ago, and liked the way they looked in the box, but not once they became different sizes after use.
