I don't use a dash cam / go pro, partly because I have multiple bikes. Instead, I just have a helmet camera / bluetooth headset combo from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Headset-FreedConn-Bluetooth-Communication/dp/B086997SSF It has some quirks, but it's been working well for me for close to 4 years now. It mounts like a cardo or most other head set devices and is pretty easy to use once you get used to it. It saves everything on an SD card and is smart enough to save over the oldest footage. It's not great if you're looking for HD videos to post to instagram or something, but it's good enough to make out license plates etc. The sound quality isn't the best for the head set, but it gets loud enough for me to hear my music through earplugs and wind/engine noise. The microphone quality for making calls / communicating is fine. I haven't tried pairing it with another headset because I ride alone, but I have taken calls on it. Also, it operates like two separate devices.. The buttons etc for the camera and for the headset are different. The microphone for the camera is external, for example, so all you'll ever get is wind noise lol. However, for $99 and how well it has held up, I have no complaints.
