I personally use the Bondi or Gaviota, but its important to note that everyone has different feet! Some people absolutely hate both of those and prefer the Clifton (i believe Clifton is their most popular) but I didn't like the Clifton. For reference, I am 5'5, 145lbs, female, walk A LOT between work and leisure, and tend to get plantar fasciitis flares and shin splints. I use these insoles and switch out every 3ish months with my shoes. https://a.co/d/0eIxwlBC I am a walking shoe evangelist lol I will lecture anyone on the importance of supportive shoes AND insoles. They seriously changed my life. I will tell you what I tell everyone- go to a running shoe store and have them test your gait. I am in the US and we have a chain of stores called "Fleet Feet" that does it for free. They then give you a list of shoes that are appropriate for your specific issue. From there, you can get shoes there or browse online for cheaper options.
I’ve never really found an OTC pair that works. My custom orthotics do but the real fix is strengthening the posterior tibialis, strengthening the rest of the posterior chain, and giving the posterior tibial tendon plenty of time to adjust to mileage before adding more volume/frequency/speedwork etc. I actually just switched a pair of my old orthotics that don’t feel like they’re working any more for a pair of these and I’m finding my PTT has been worse, especially on my left foot which is odd given the collapse is worse on my right. I’m hoping my foot will adjust, if not I’ll need to go get a script for new custom orthotics 😒. My credentials are collapsed arches with almost chronic minor posterior tibialis tendinitis 🥲
