Eco-drive movement means no battery changes basically ever. Good lume; very easy to read for eyes that are getting older. All three of these watches are not small in any sense of the imagination -- the Lunar Pilot is 45mm I think, the Promaster is 44, and the Nighthawk is 42. And I've not even thought about automatic watches because "someone's dad" rarely wants an auto.
