If the leds on the panel blinked occasionally that’s 100% not normal. Other RVs DO NOT DO THIS that are properly working. The led only comes on if the fuse is blown or disconnected ( removed) So this means that you ignored a warning of a loose connection ( fuse, wire, PCB solder joint) and almost burned the unit down. The good news is swapping out that whole converter / distribution panel is an easy job that takes about an hour. You can reuse the 120v breakers in the new panel or go get new ones @ HD or Lowe’s. They are standard CH BR home breakers. I would also grab some 10 port wagos as there is a large bundle of ground wires behind the panel probably stuffed into an overflowing ( usually blue ) wire nut. Remove all these and put into a wago or two with a jumper between wagos. A few 3 and 5 port wagos could be useful to replace any wire nutted wires as needed also.
