PIO injection is definitely more challenging than stims. I’ve been able to handle by myself, although only on my right side. The nurse said injecting on same side was okay as needed, which in my case is when my husband is occasionally traveling. Recommend using lidocaine numbing cream 30-60 min in advance of the injection. I like to use this “shot blocker” (https://a.co/d/0037tcgw) so that I don’t notice the entry point as much. Heating pad after, and massage gun as needed.
